Overview

As a Product Specialist, you will maintain the accuracy, integrity and freshness of hotel property database information used in the delivery of TravelClick's Business Intelligence products.  This role will focus on data analysis to identify data discrepancies and other technical problems with data delivery and utilization in TravelClick's business intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage customer- and revenue-driven hotel property data maintenance to support and enable subscription delivery. 
  • Maintain subject knowledge required for effective data administration.
  • Coordinate alignment of data across multiple production databases, including export and import of data among systems. 
  • Document data administration procedures and guidelines. 
  • Provide escalation support to internal and external customers. 
  • Assist with data extraction and reporting for sales, account management and product team members. 
  • Validate development-originated data changes.
  • Perform QA on data-related bug fixes. 
  • Execute appropriate data enhancements and modifications per customer requests. 
  • Prepare ad hoc database reports for internal customers.
  • Support new and ongoing data collection efforts.

Qualifications

Desired Skills & Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of two years of hospitality and/or data analysis experience OR two years of customer service experience on hospitality systems.
  • Knowledge of hospitality systems such as central reservation systems (CRS), property management systems (PMS), online travel agents (OTAs) or data warehouses relevant to business intelligence.
  • Hotel Revenue Management / Pricing knowledge desirable
  • Working SQL knowledge as used for analytics and simple data administration highly desired.
