Overview

TravelClick’s Guest Management Solutions is one of the company’s fastest-growing products. GMS is an end-to-end CRM and marketing automation platform, allowing hoteliers to personalize their customer communications and segment their marketing efforts to foster guest engagement and drive incremental revenue. We are looking for a passionate, driven individual to join our team in a highly visible role as an implementation manager. This person will manage customer implementations following the sale of GMS and transition the customer into our Account Management organization following a successful on-boarding. The implementation manager will need to quickly learn and understand the customer’s business objectives to lead the implementation of all facets of the GMS platform. A successful candidate should have strong project management and communication skills. An understanding of email marketing best practices, HTML coding, and hospitality industry property management systems is a plus.               

Responsibilities

  • Create project plan for implementations
  • Schedule launch meeting/kick off call with client (DOS and TC AM should be invited)
  • Send correct codes workbooks for completion
  • Set-up weekly call time

Project Planning

  • Create project plan for implementations

Account Creation

  • Submit all needed information for GMS account creation
  • Configure initial users 

PMS

  • Create Property Manager
  • Create List Owner PMS Manager
  • Create PMS Events (i.e. Confirmation, Cancellation, etc.)
  • Create Mappings Questions/Answers
  • Load all codes and correctly map
  • Request PMS installation day/time if remote client from GMS Dev Team.  If Opera, ask for OXI install date.
  • Create multi-tracks for each PMS event if applicable
  • Upgrades/Upsells 

Creative Upload, code or request Design services for creative pieces

  • Test email creative for rendering
  • Create frozen templates
  • Guide client in organization of campaign folder system

Forms/Surveys

  • Create web forms (ie. Email sign-up)
  • Create Guest Satisfaction Survey
  • Response Center set-up if requested

Data

  • Guide client on data plan (how the data should be structured in sources based on what they have and how they market)
  • Upload any initial manual lists provided (i.e. past email sign-ups).  Please note they should also include an opt out file so we may load that as well.
  • Create a few initial filters based on how client wants to market so they may use as reference

Training

  • Initial training on all GMS modules that client has contracted

3rd Party Integrations

  • Facilitate all 3rd party integrations (i.e. TripAdvisor, Medallia, Revinate, etc.)
  • Meet with GMS Dev Team on other integrations that are part of contract to be built

Other GMS Products

  • Loyalty/Guest Portal Creation or API (Set-up, training, NDA for API)
  • Cart Abandonment
  • Guest Messenger
  • Clickstream Marketing
  • Mobile Passport creation
  • GV360 (Set-up and training

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • HTML Coding ability (outside of coding programs such as Dreamweaver)
  • Understanding of CSS with basic ability to write CSS
  • Previous experience using an Email Service Provider platform (ie MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc)--This does not have to be extensive
  • Ability to troubleshoot HTML rendering issues

LANGUAGES REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:

Must be fluent in English
