Overview

TravelClick’s Retention team is directly responsible for driving over $160 million in annual revenue, through renewals of contracted services to existing customers.  To ensure success, the team relies on intensive analytics and reporting to manage and monitor progress, identify trends and opportunities.

The Renewals and Retention analyst will be responsible for developing the strategy and implementing the activities necessary to ensure that TravelClick meets its renewal goals. This will include managing pacing and reporting information and completing the analysis that will help drive the day-to-day decisions and performance of the team. The Renewals and Retention analyst will work closely with the sales, account management, product and finance teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness in data and alignment on strategy and execution. 

The Renewals and Retention Analyst will regularly work with TravelClick’s Senior Leadership Team providing analytics on actual, goal and forecast data and reporting on initiatives and recommendations. As part of a growing organization, this role will need to quickly and effectively adapt to the changes in service and provide insight into the creation and/or modification of analytical tools to sustain and drive the growth of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze team and department performance to determine the trends, opportunities and recommendations for improvements to revenue retention.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports and analysis of retention performance against plan and assist the team with forecasting activity
  • Work with internal teams including product and sales and finance to incorporate changes in product and sales opportunities
  • Work with Salesforce.com and product teams to ensure consistency and integrity of reporting and to minimize manual overhead
  • Work with the finance team to ensure accuracy of goals, actuals and commission payouts for accurate measurement of performance and compensation related to renewal activities
  • Maintain appropriate data in salesforce.com to support renewal activity and manage all supporting dashboards and reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (e.g., accounting, finance or related area)
  • 3-5 years experience in an analytical role, particularly support a sales or account management function
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills to help identify trends, opportunities as it relates to Renewals and Sales and turn insights into recommendations for the team
  • Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint required.
  • Proven experience identifying solution, implementing corrective action and driving progress across multiple teams required
  • Ability to create and run SQL queries to pull data from multiple sources in order to generate comprehensive reporting and analysis.
  • Experience with extracting and preparing data from a CRM highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com Sales Cloud
  • Highly motivated, passionate individual, organized with strong attention to detail
