Overview

Are you looking to expand your career within hotel reservations? TravelClick is seeking Interns interested in broadening their knowledge of the digital space, specifically in metasearch. Reservations Interns will be exposed to exciting channels like Google, TripAdvisor, Trivago and many more. Reservation Interns will work closely with both Account Managers and Meta teams to manage TravelClick’s Demand Services program, including but not limited to activations, day-to-day campaign management and reporting.

 

The 2018 Summer Internship Program will begin in June 2018, and applications will be reviewed in January 2018.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of TravelClick’s structure, products, clients and processes
  • Assist Reservations team with on-boarding, analysis and campaign management
  • Generate data and reports to maximize performance worldwide for our clients
  • Generate and help maintain a variety of reports including Margin vs. Revenue and Optimization Reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree candidate; graduation date from your program must be December 2018 or later
  • Extremely proficient in Excel (including strong knowledge of Vlookups, HLookups, and Pivot Tables)
  • Detail oriented, well organized, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced results oriented business environment.
  • Passionate about product innovation with strong entrepreneurial drive.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous record of achieving goals, under timelines, in a professional environment
  • Self-starter; takes initiative and thoughtfully shares ideas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

A successful candidate would be working closely with our Hotel Reservations team and have exposure to:

 

  • Metasearch Enginesand partners
  • Booking Engine
  • Web Development
  • Tagging
  • Campaign Management

 

Report Management Including:

  • Ongoing Monitor Reporting
  • Bid strategies & thresholds
  • Optimization Reporting


Campaign Auditing including:

  • Ensure campaigns are running properly across all channels: accurate implementation
  • ROAS/Performance goals: Ensure that campaigns are being monitored and performance issues are being identified for optimization analysis.
