Overview

                       

This position will provide financial planning and analysis, as well as decision support to members of the Senior Leadership team.  Will work closely with members of the finance organization to provide critical financial analysis to the CEO, CFO and Board. We are a fast paced, mid-sized software and data company so position will have exposure to senior management and a variety of interesting business challenges.

Responsibilities

Financial Analysis

  • Review, track and analyze key financial metrics for the company and individual product lines
  • Prepare bi- weekly Sales and Revenue forecast by product; demonstrating variances vs. previous forecast, plan and prior year
  • Meet with SLT members on a regular basis to review to review business results, key drivers and expectations vs. forecast and plan
  • Manage product operating costs, including headcount related costs and technology spend
  • Manage open headcount

Board Deck

  • Provide financial input to key Board decks. 
  • Help drive key messages through financial analysis, key metric performance and progress made on our key foundational strategies   
  • Liaise with Senior Leaders to update the Board on progress made and/or key learning’s, status updates in their respective business areas

Monthly Metrics Deck

  • Ownership of a monthly metrics deck that provides updates on company key metrics and business trends surrounding retention rates, sales performance, average selling price, delivery and backlog times, etc

Annual Plan Process

  • Help manage the annual plan process for overall company as well as specific product P&L’s

Adhoc projects

  • Deep dives on key performance metrics
  • Participate in key M&A activities
  • Key product investment impacts/ return analysis
  • Special projects from CEO and CFO

Qualifications

  • Driven, self-motivated individual
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Extremely proficient in excel and MS office products
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills required
  • 5+ years of prior finance work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Related Field
