The Director of Reservations Distribution is responsible for driving the growth of TravelClick’s iHotelier Central Reservations System (CRS) business. The CRS anchors the TravelClick Bundle, which combines all of TravelClick’s product families to deliver maximum value to hotel customers.


  • A true hunting role, this person sources a list of targets or can proactively source large targets across their region and their role is to build pipeline, penetrate account, build senior level relationships to sell “new” Reservation services
  • This role is responsible for building relationships and all sales activity with medium to large scale groups, management companies and independent hotels with deal value over $50k.
  • Act as a solution architect to help large customers understand and integrate to our Central Reservation System
  • Educate the market and position our new CRS capabilities and the Bundle value proposition effectively
  • Drive large customer Bundle sales, create the right pricing strategies, and establish optimal targeting approaches
  • Represent the voice of the customer to shape the overall CRS product strategy and roadmap
  • Needs to have a solid understanding of Sales Process, Discovery Q&A, Qualification, Negotiating leading to successful solution based sale. 
  • Responsible for RFP Management
  • Directly assist VP of Reservations in Reservation Expansion Initiatives
  • Travel: 50% Southeast Regions


• BA/BS Degree, MBA preferred
• 3+ years of experience working in the hospitality industry and/or technology
• 3+ years of experience working in a Sales Manager or Director of Sales role in either hospitality and/or technology
• Functional expertise in distribution/revenue management, and/or sales
• Superb communicator, eloquent and compelling in front of employees and clients
• Successful operator in a sales driven culture
• Proven ability to leverage data and analytics to shape go to market strategies
• Action oriented, addressing challenges and opportunities proactively
• History of acting with integrity and collaborating well with teams
• Bright, quick, and pro-active with strong people skills, and able to adapt quickly to the company's operating environment and capture the trust and respect of colleagues
