Overview

The Renewals Manager is focused on customer and revenue retention and will explore opportunities to introduce new products to the customer. This is accomplished through regular touch points to ensure usage and reinforce product value.  The Renewal Manager will be responsible for achieving the renewal goal of their assigned hotels and/or products. The Renewal Manager will work with several departments in TravelClick including Inside and Outside sales, Product, and Customer Care. The position provides a great opportunity to learn the variety of TravelClick solutions (Reservation Solutions, Web, Business Intelligence, Media, Channel Management) in both an account manager and sales function.  You will be exposed to a variety of hotels and learn the needs and objectives of these clients. 

Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Secure existing business for another term, maintain and improve current customer relationship by educating customers on enhancements to products; verify use and knowledge of product while conducting periodic reviews with customers; provide the customer with ROI analysis of the different products; prepare and present renewal authorization information in a timely manner; follow up of urgent due renewals; contact previously existing customers in order to win declined business back. Achieve or exceed renewal and cross sell monthly targets.
  • Utilize a regular customer contact program through use of a weekly plan and Salesforce, ensuring that clients are maximizing revenue through TravelClick solutions and identifying opportunities to introduce/cross-sell new products to the customer.
  • Cross train the other team members in sharing specific product knowledge.
  • Prepare legal documents and ensure that appropriate pricing is in place. Work with manager and product management team regarding any special pricing.
  • Regular coordination with sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison with customers to coordinate any additions and/or changes with our customer support teams relating to existing subscriptions and new purchases. Insure customer issue resolution.
  • Perform any other tasks as requested by the manager, including renewal related administrative tasks.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Ability to self-manage workload to achieve production goals
  • Ability to develop cross-sell/up-sell opportunities on existing client accounts
  • Ability to control a call, leading to positive results and happy customers
  • Detail oriented, well organized, and ability to multi-task in a results oriented business environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on client satisfaction
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • Ideally have at least one year of inside sales, account management or 1 year of hospitality experience in a customer facing role

Education:
