    As a Director, Digital Media Strategy (Enterprise) for North American accounts you are responsible for all enterprise level relationships under the TravelClick Digital Media offering sold through the Americas sales teams.  You will be supported by a team of Digital Media Strategists and Digital Media Analysts to manage the account load.  Your primary responsibility is to support the team through training, process refinements, and assigning accounts.                              


    It will be important for you to build close relationships with inter and intra departmental managers to facilitate process and expedite requests.  Must be a subject matter expert in digital marketing so that they can help support the other group’s initiatives.


    The Director, Digital Media Strategy (Enterprise) is expected to be experts in all things digital, including Paid Search, Paid Display, and Paid Social.  Throughout the entire lifecycle of an account, you must be intimately familiar with the process from creating a strategic plan to pixel implementation to activating a new campaign, through the ongoing management.  You must be able to advise and consult on all aspects of the day-to-day management.



    • Assign new accounts to Digital Media Strategists and team to ensure balanced workload, pairing resource (subject matter expertise) with client digital marketing sophistication
    • Track KPIs that the team is goaled on.  Ensure frequent communication to team and suggest ways to improve underperforming stats
    • Understand, enforce, and refine current processes to increase team efficiency
    • Manage the workflow and workload to ensure SLAs are being met and there is an even balance of work across the team
    • Prepare for internal monthly and quarterly account reviews with team
    • Provide weekly updates to management
    • Work with the Manager of Digital Media Analysts to ensure that reports are accurate and pushed to the team on a regular basis.  Reports include:
    • Training team and new hires
      • Campaign management proficiency across the channels
      • Client facing interaction
      • Client facing reporting
      • Processes
      • Optimizations
        • Reallocation of cross-channel budgets (with ROI team recommendation)
        • Pre/post analysis of optimization
        • Post mortem reporting
    • Human Resources
      • Responsible for annual and semi-annual reviews for the team
      • Identify and scan potential recruits.
      • Assist in onboarding new hires (including training – see above)


    Campaign Management

    • Up-sell/Cross-sell
      • Work with Digital Media Strategists to pitch new products to existing clients (output of identifying opportunities)
      • Ensure monitoring, tracking, and follow up of team efforts through the lifetime of the process
    • Work with sales and account management to ensure proper client management
    • Review optimization recommendations sent by the Digital Media Analyst and Digital Media Strategists, where necessary
    • Resolve issues in a timely manner that require higher level support
    • Work with Digital Media Strategist on QBR activities/deliverables
    • Participate in monthly client calls as needed
    • Master TravelClick BI and reservations data as they apply to media campaign optimization.
    • Act as point of contact for partners such as Google, Bing, Facebook, Trip Advisor, etc.



    • Work with Campaign Management to ensure the renewals are attended to and processed in a timely manner
    • Project manage subsequent flight period renewals for active contracts by working with the various internal media ops groups

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • A minimum of 4-5+ years’ experience in paid search or display advertising managing/onboarding client campaigns
    • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in managing teams
    • Experience with DoubleClick Search, DoubleClick Bid Manager, DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Google AdWords, Bing and Facebook.
    • Experience presenting data to clients of various levels and various degrees of digital knowledge
    • Demonstrated ability to contribute to upfront media strategies
    • Thorough understanding of direct response marketing in the digital age and media planning
    • Detail oriented, well organized, and ability to multi-task in a results oriented business environment
    • Project management experience a plus
    • Hotel experience is a plus
    • Proficient in MS Office, with an expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required
    • Availability to Travel up to 25%
