  • Overview

    The Junior Digital Media Designer will interact with content teams, subject matter experts, user experience, media production to produce animations and interactive graphics, for our customer-facing sites, all while meeting or exceeding budget, schedule, quality, and business requirements.


    We seek a Junior Digital Media Designer who understands good UX practices, paid digital and traditional advertising a plus. Ideal candidates will be able to collaborate with Marketing team to ensure concepts are well planned from initial design concept through execution.  Projects include Rich Media, HTML5 banners, animations, static banners, social media assets, and working on landing pages in HTML.

    • High School Diploma/GED required
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)
    • Comfortable with the Mac platform

    Additional Characteristics

    • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design/electronic media preferred
    • Work closely with the Manager of Media Creative, and Media Designers to produce cutting edge, effective designs while maintaining industry best practices
    • Ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Provide sketches, storyboards, proofs of concept, and presentations to effectively communicate visual concepts to internal stakeholders and project team members
    • Ability to execute ideas from concept to final creative
    • Familiarity with Google Web Designer, Rich Media
    • Experience in hospitality/travel industry
    • Familiarity with banner animation in HTML5
    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team cooperation, promote enthusiasm, and motivate strategic thinking.
